Announcements:

• Heads Up: Issue added to ACA-Py – with vc-authn-oidc at scale with short lived connections. Memory issues. Being investigated. Stay tuned!

• did:webvh – test suite and post quantum crypto testing

• Status – recent releases. 1.6.0 working well! Bunch of testing done.

  • No objections – 1.6.0 is the new LTS. Repo to be updated to state that.

• OpenID4VC Plugin

  • History of the plugin:

    • Indicio contribution initially

    • Additional work by Ontario team, upgrading to OpenID4VC v1.0, adding an experimental mDoc library

    • Making the demo work to use in adding new capabilities

    • Recent new Indicio contribution used Spruce mDocs library – production-grade

    • Merged as incomplete, but updated immediately after by Ontario team

    • Demo update

  • Demos provide of the working issuer and a demonstration of mDL issuance and presentation.

• PRs to move Indy from core to Plugin

  • Currently, unit and integration tests broken. For integration tests, getting them running with the plugin is step 1, and then creating another set of integration tests that don’t rely on Indy/the plugin.

  • AI overview of the approach and next steps are in the PRs

  • Next step is to get a commitment to work on this issue.

  • Anyone who is interested is welcome to fork Jamie’s branches and contribute to them.

    • Gathering of OWF Growth and Impact project maintainers

    • All are welcome to attend (especially Labs) but we are asking Growth and Impact projects to send at least one representative

    • The agenda for the first half would be 5-10 minutes per project for updates (what is new, adoption, where the project is going) and then the second half would be a discussion about how these projects can be better aligned/work together/build bridges.

  • Monday May 4 8amPT / 11amET / 5pmCET - the OWF Wallet Interop SIG is BACK!

    • Vinay from Apostille Lab will be sharing his work on the project, where it is being used, where it is looking to grow
